i love how simple this piece is, but it has the right flare. in my opinion i would add a wave of black more towards the bottom in the blue. great work!

I love this, Andres!

This drawing reminds me of the spit curls on Spanish Dancers, and of the sinuous and sensuous movement of their arms as they snake through the air, the percussion of castanets.

This drawing makes me feel free, as though I am floating upon and rolling with the waves ... not light enough to fly, but free enough to embrace the sea and the sky!

no se porque pero al verlo y leer la descripcion me vino a la mente la frase de Romeo (en romeo y julieta) "soy un juguete del destino" :)

Por otro lado me gusta la combinacion azul-negro......en particular el azul es mi color favorito

A veces pareciera que la simpleza es lo mas facil de lograr, pero en verdad a veces es lo mas complejo de producir. Gracias por tus palabras para las curvas y colores de este dibujo Raul. :-)

I think your point is a very good one. Adding a black wave. Actually when drawing it I did a version which includes several black waves! :-) However, I decided that if I were to add a black wave, the central image would seem to be supported by something other than the blue color. And the whole idea was to make it appear totally suspended. This, of course, makes us more uneasy for we want to make it become more attached to something.

But I thank you for having such wonderful eyes to see what others can't.

Sabes Paula, creo que la figura se entrega a fluir del mar. Sin embargo no creo que esa entrega sea fatalista. Tal vez sea una entrega liberadora. Me gustan siempre tus puntos de vista. Te agradezco. :-)
