Such a great feel of happiness and laughter emanating from this piece, Andres. And the duality, still present, so simply and easily portrayed. I'll take this one to favourites for safekeeping.. ;-)

I feel like this piece needs more "weight". it feel slightlly empty or stark... maybe heavier lines, or even a closer cropping? . I love the lines that you chose to show - they do feel light and happy and timtam noted.

Tim, a favorite! Wow, I still cannot believe people select my paintings, drawings or pictures into their favorites! I myself am surpirsed to see that these few lines can generate calm and happiness. I do not know how they do it. But they seem to do so! I was truly shocked when I compared this one with my other Deviant ID. They were done 3 years apart and yet they seem so similar!
:icontimtam:
Yes they're quite similar. I'm sure the hand remembers much more than that for which we give credit..

Thank you Laura. As I wrote to you in your comment on "Projection", there are several ways to add weight here. But for this particular one I think the best option for me is simply to enlarge it and by doing so widening the lines. But the lines themselves would not change relative to each other. This would be the solution to many of the 2001-2002 line art pieces. However, as with others they could indeed become color FULL. But you see, there is also a very special reason why these are so empty, so light, so disinterested in complexity.

Thanks so much. Would love to hear why you like it.

To see if I might purchase it, I like it...

Tim, I am honored. As I have told you previously, I do not know how all this would work. I am a University Professor in Political Philosophy currently finishing my PhD and not an artist by training. Since I am in DA, then as I understand it, one could only get prints here. You might have more experience on these things. I have opened my print account but I am waiting for some frame software because the one I use is freeware. A second point is: the pieces you have been interested in are small pieces ment to be enlarged and/or transformed. I have them all framed at home as they are. However, are you interested in them as they are, or are you interested in them being enlarged?
